My final and most extensive piece of the five days. It is (obviously) still in progress, but I thought I’d show you anyway. It is a poem called “I Do” by the amazingly talented spoken word poet Andrea Gibson.
This was a small book I created with a poem by e.e. cummings. Final size is 4x6 in.
This summer I had the opportunity to be an intern at the Wells College Books Arts Institute. It is a two week intensive that takes place at Wells College in Aurora, NY. This year I was lucky enough to be a part of the talented Cheryl Jacobsen’s calligraphy class as well as TA with the wonderful Steve Miller from the University of Alabama and owner of Red Hydra Press for a letterpress class.
Work to follow!

An infographic made for my GD IV class. I tracked my habits for two weeks using a notepad and Daytum and then designed an infographic for the data.
Art Direction student Dan Nelson made this awesomely simplistic ad campaign for Swiss Army Knives.
A project for my Advanced Graphic Design class, the objective was to make a correspondence system for a character from a movie. This comprehensive system is for the bounty hunter Domino Harvey based Keira Knightly’s portrayal of her in the bio pic, Domino (2005).

A japanese bound book for Artist Books that explores the fear of saying “I love you” for the first time to someone and not hearing anything back.
Thoughts Not Words is another book for my Artist Books class at MICA. It is a coptic stitch book with envelopes as pages. Each page is addressed to someone in my life, but not by name. Inside there are small notes of thoughts that I mean say to them at some point, but either haven’t had the courage or haven’t felt it was the right time.
